Cheesy Alfredo Penne Pasta – Recipe Amul

I made this. Today. #AchievementUnlocked. I loved it. Nom Nom. So I decided to share it.
*Does the victory dance

Ingredients: (Serves 2)
Pasta (Any) – 250 gms
Water – 3 cups
Milk – ½ cup
Black Pepper – A pinch
Salt – A pinch
Amul Butter – 50 gms
Amul Cheese – 100 gms - grated
Pasta Seasoning – 1 teaspoon

#trivia – I used the Snapin Pasta Mix which is – Oregano, Basil, Parsley, Garlic & pepper.

Time: 30 mins for complete preparation

1. Boil 3 cups of water with a pinch of salt.

2. Add pasta to the boiling water. Keep aside when done. Make sure it’s cooked.

3. In a pan, melt butter on a low flame. Whisk in to aid the process.

4. Once the butter has melted completely, add half of the grated cheese. Keep whisking   in order to avoid lumps.

#trivia – Cheese blocks are tough to dissolve & take time. Plus if you have just taken the block out of fridge then you had it. Grated cheese blends in faster and you won’t have to whisk that much

5. Add milk slowly to the mixture and keep whisking to avoid lumps. Blend well.

6. Add the remaining grated cheese and mix/whisk well.

7. Add a pinch of black pepper.

8. When the mixture reaches the desired consistency, toss in your cooked pasta. Stir well.

#trivia – If your mixture becomes too thick, add milk and whisk well. If it’s too thin, fret not. Just keep it on the flames for a few more minutes & it’ll thicken.

9. Add a dash of Pasta Seasoning and get the pasta off the flame

Your yummy delicious Alfredo is ready to eat!

Vegetables – I was too bored for vegetables so I chucked it :P. But if you were to add vegetables – the best for Alfredo are – Green/Yellow Bell peppers, American Corn & Broccoli. Cook the vegetables without salt and keep them aside. At step 8 – Add the vegetables first, mix well and then add pasta

Try it out & lemme know. Until next time,
